Lot #2: (Lot of 3) George Washington’s Birthday cards, including a Clapsaddle and a Tuck. Condition varies.

Lot #3: Victorian Photograph Album - Contains over 50 cabinet photos, including one with a guitar and another with a baritone horn. Also includes one tintype and several loose images. Purple velvet album in VG condition; unusual expandable metal clasp that still works great! (View 1 of 2)

Lot #3 continued: Victorian Photograph Album - The unique faux wood pages inside the album held four photographs, two on each side. (View 2 of 2)

Lot #4: Vintage, unmounted photo of fish, titled in the negative: “A Day’s Catch of Yellowtail by L.G. Murphy & Geo. Michaelis, June 10th 1903 at Catalina Isl.” Great southern California fishing photo by Charles Fronmonger showing the day’s catch below the sign of Mexican Joe and Michaelis.

Lot #5: (Lot of 19) Jewish related New Year greetings postcards. Condition varies. Postmarks date circa 1906 to 1919.

Lot #6: Framed and matted, under glass, “Courtship” series of six (6) color postcards published by Reinthal & Newman, and issued by Scribners. Goes from “The Proposal” thru to “Their New Love”, a baby. (View 1 of 2)

Lot #9: Book - “Prairie Fires and Paper Moons: The American Photographic Postcard: 1900-1920” by Morgan and Brown. 1982; 2nd printing; softbound.

Lot #10: (Lot of 1) RPPC - Standard Ice horse-drawn wagon with African Americans posed in front and behind. Two are holding large chunks of ice with tongs; another stands with empty tongs. Location unknown. AZO stamp box; unused.

Lot #11: (Lot of 1) RPPC - Three men and a dog in front of J. Edward’s Cafe’ and Bar, location unknown. Circular beer advertising sign at upper right; tobacco sign at middle left edge. AZO stamp box; unused.

Lot #12: (Lot of 80) RPPCs and postcard size photos - Scenic views of Alaska including snow covered mountains, lakes, waterways, tundra, caches, and several of Native Alaskans. One view of Soapy Smith Rock. Mostly unused.

Lot #13: (Lot of 1) RPPC - Cottage Grove, Oregon. Main Street west from Ninth Street. Unused.

Lot #14: (Lot of 19) RPPCs - Views taken in and around Fort Sill, Oklahoma, circa 1921. All are titled, including image of commander arriving at the Fort Sill Train Depot; Battalion B, 9th F.A. leaving for review; many different fort buildings; Camp Doniphan; soldiers watching a baseball game; military motorcycles; etc. Great goouping with historical significance. VG to VG+ condition.

Lot #15: (Lot of 1) RPPC - Overview of Coos Bay Lumber Company Mill, Marshfield, Oregon. Unused.

Lot #16: Set of 4 Postcards - Bathing Lady showing her undressing and in the bathtub. All unused.

Lot #17: (Lot of 1) RPPC - Baseball team from St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin. Unused.

Lot #18: (Lot of 8) Postcards - Eight pretty women, all with hair attached.

Lot #19: (Lot of 48) All Colorado views, including color litho cards of towns and scenery. Includes several RPPC views by Sanborn. Condition ranges from G to VG+.

Lot #20: Colored panorama print, framed under glass, titled, “The Mansion and the Grounds, Mount Vernon, Va.” This view of George Washington’s home was published and copyrighted in 1920 by B.S. Reynolds Co., Washington, D.C.
