Auction Lots and Bidding Instructions

The Webfooters Post Card Club will hold a live auction on Friday, April 16, 2010, beginning at 6:30 pm at The Grotto Conference Center - 8840 NE Skidmore St in Portland. The auction kicks off the 30th Annual Webfooters Post Card Club Show & Sale which begins on Saturday, April 17th and runs through Sunday, April 18th at the Jackson Armory.

We are assembling a diverse group of lots of postcards, photographs, stereoviews, and collectible paper items (plus a few surprises) that should make for a fun evening. The on-site auction preview begins at 3:30 pm on Friday, the 16th, and continues on until 6:15 pm. The auction begins at 6:30 pm. Bidders must register and a number will be assigned to each bidder.

If you cannot attend the auction in person, you may submit an absentee bid by leaving your bid with auction officials at the auction location earlier on Friday.

Please remember that there is a 10% buyer’s premium on top of your high bid. In addition, The Club will receive between 20 - 30%, depending on the price realized, of the sale amount of all sold lots.

The Webfooters Post Card Club can accept cash or a personal check as well as Visa or MasterCard for payment of winning bids if onsite, the night of the auction. If bidding by phone or by absentee bid, we will need to get your credit card number for payment processing. No items will be released until payment has been received or authorized. There will be a 3% processing fee.

A no-host Webfooters dinner beginning at 5:00 pm is available that evening for $20. Advance reservations are required and can be made by contacting Maggie Parypa by April 9.  A no host bar with beer and wine will be available. The live auction begins immediately following the dinner. Come spend an enjoyable evening with us!

Thank you for supporting this fund-raising auction to benefit the Webfooters Post Card Club of Portland, Oregon which started in 1966.
